Mkhambathini Local Municipality

Mkhambathini Local Municipality is one of the seven municipalities that make up the uMgungundlovu District in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Its name, derived from the Zulu word “eMkhambathini” meaning “place of acacia trees,” reflects both its rich natural landscape and deep-rooted cultural heritage.
